Hi,
Will introduce myself more formally later. I am getting my first dobie pup on Fri. I picked a real calm, sweet, gentle boy (so far as puppies go!) in the litter with hopes he will get along well with my 5 year old Min Pin girl who is queen bee of the house and used to getting rediculous amounts of love and attention from my guy and me. I really love my MP and am a little worried about how she is going to handle having to share our attention with the pup. On the other hand, it could be very enriching for her to have a canine friend and not just human friends.
What do you all think? Any Min Pin/Dobie people out there or even just small dog/ dobie people? Any advice on introducing these two and ensuring they have a smooth time of getting familiar with eachother (and I hope, getting to be best friends!!!)....
Min PIn and Dobie will have to share same room, just so you can take that into account. Any success stories out there re. MinPins or little dogs being chums with Dobie?
